  Researchers believe they know why the recalled pet food is causing kidney failure in cats and dogs. Samples of it have tested positive for rat poison. The investigation has focused so far on the wheat gluten used to make the food and the supplier. The deaths led to a recall of 60 million cans and pouches of pet food produced by Menu Foods and sold throughout North America under 95 brand names....
